In accordance with STAT regulations, the training course consists of
1600 class hours spread over a minimum period of three years. Each
academic year is divided into three terms, with the usual school
holidays. The course is in both German and English. A working
knowledge of English is essential as much of the literature relevant to
the Alexander Technique is only available in English.
There are no specific academic entry requirements, but prospective
students are expected to have had some personal experience of the
Alexander Technique; either through individual lessons or group
classes/workshops etc. Some work experience is also desirable, and
therefore a minimum entry age of 23 is recommended. New students may
join the training course at any time during the academic year.
In accordance with STAT training course regulations there is a minimum
teacher/student ratio of 1:5.

Jan Pullman (Guest teacher and assigned STAT moderator): trained by
Karen Wentworth, Alborg.
The training course also offers ongoing study to graduates from other
schools. Post-graduate weeks, months or terms are offered subject to
place availability.
